Mallorca is in the Mediterranean "Winter Rain area". Summer starts end of May beginning of June. From then on you have sunshine almost every day until the end of September, beginning of October.

There are several very hot periods between July and September, August is usually the hottest month and it is so hot that can barely walk on the sand on the beaches without jumping!

From December until the beginning of May the weather is variable. Cold periods are possible and can reach below 10 degrees centigrade in January. Sunny days may reach temperatures between 15 and 25 degrees centigrade but cannot be counted on.

Christmas in Mallorca is usually sunny but cold in the evenings. Locals will say its cold but visitors love it, most visitors say that winter days are sunny and so much warmer than where they live permanently.
